Wilfried Bony snubs Drogba, names best player he ever played with

Former Stoke City striker Wilfried Bony has named Manchester City legend Yaya Touré as the best teammate he ever played with, passing over Chelsea icon Didier Drogba.

Bony shared the field with both Drogba and Touré during their time with the Ivory Coast national team. He also teamed up with Touré at Manchester City, alongside other top stars like David Silva and Sergio Agüero.

When asked to name the best player or teammate he ever played with on the Obi One podcast, Bony singled out Touré. “I will choose Yaya Touré. I can imagine Didier Drogba won’t be too happy,” he said.

“I am a striker, and I don’t think Drogba would choose me; he would probably pick players who can pass the ball to him, which I understand because he’s also a striker. Yaya Touré’s IQ is amazing. When you see him, he might look slow, but the moment he decides to move, he’s unstoppable. Once he gets his first five yards, it’s finished. He’s strong, fast, and very clever.”
