Thembisa Mdoda has addressed circulating divorce rumours, finally breaking her silence on social media.
The Our Perfect Wedding host and her husband, Abie Nxumalo, had been at the centre of speculation, with some reports suggesting they were experiencing serious marital issues and that divorce papers had already been filed after five years of marriage.
The rumours quickly gained traction online, prompting fans to seek clarity from Thembisa herself.
Over the past weekend, she dismissed the claims in her usual candid style, showing she was unbothered by the gossip. “That’s literally the dumbest thing I’ve ever read. Happy Saturday, guys,” she wrote.
Earlier reports had linked the rumours to a 2024 domestic dispute, claiming Nxumalo had moved out of their Fourways home following a “big fight” related to alleged toxic associations. However, Thembisa’s response suggests the viral narrative was far from accurate.
Her post prompted relief and humour from fans, many of whom encouraged her to ignore the speculation and carry on with life.
