NPFL: Why Kwara United lost to Plateau United – Suleiman

Kwara United technical adviser Ashifat Suleiman has attributed his team’s 1-0 loss to Plateau United to a lapse in concentration.

The Harmony Boys were narrowly defeated at the New Jos Stadium on Sunday, with Sodeeq Yusuf scoring the decisive goal late in the match for Plateau United.

Speaking after the game, Suleiman said the team is already focused on bouncing back in their next fixture against Kano Pillars in Ilorin.

“We came here hoping to secure at least a point, but we lost concentration at the end,” he said in a post-match interview. “We move on to the next game in Ilorin next Sunday.”

The defeat leaves Kwara United in 18th place on the league table with 27 points.
